Shane Smith

2024-2025 Scholar

Shane Smith is currently a Junior studying finance at the University of Maryland. As a member of the Delta Phi chapter of Sigma Nu, Shane has had the opportunity to engage in leadership development, community service, and personal growth while balancing his academic commitments. Shane feels very fortunate to have built so many lifelong relationships through his involvement in the chapter as well. During his time at UMD, Shane has been involved in meaningful activities, including working with the IFC judicial board and participating in volunteer activities like Terpthon and Everybody Eats UMD. Shane is looking forward to new opportunities like studying abroad in Rome next semester and continuing to gain experience in the financial services industry through internships in the summer.
