Shane Querubin

2022-2023 Scholar

Shane Querubin is a junior majoring in Environmental Science and Technology and minoring in Sustainability. She is a part of the Gemstone Honors College where she is researching how to use green walls as a means to recycle water produced on campus. Shane works as an undergraduate research assistant in the toxicology lab on campus led by Dr. Yonkos where she will be continuing through her Master’s program. She is a student leader in various student organizations like TerpsForChange, Sustainable Ocean Alliance, RESTORE, AEES, and the American Red Cross Club, and is also a McNair Scholar.
