Osman Dauda

2025 Scholar

Osman Dauda was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He has endured 11-years  of  civil war and other tribulations growing up in Sierra Leone. Despite facing  numerous challenges, Osman has been driven  by a thirst for knowledge and  a  desire to excel academically. At UMD, Osman is involved in the Smith Business Academy, National Association of Black Accountants, and PrePAIR Mentoring Program for First Generation Students, where he helps his mentee to build connections on campus and navigate through challenging situations while studying on campus.
