Olivia Minniefield

2024-2025 Scholar

Over the past 4 years at UMD, Olivia Minniefield has tried to immerse herself in a wide range of experiences. Starting freshman year, she joined the TerpThon planning committee, specifically the University Relations team, where she spoke with University staff to coordinate TerpThon and sponsorships. Along with that, Olivia rushed and joined Gamma Phi Beta. Gamma Phi Beta has led her to finding her forever friends. While she stuck with GPHI throughout the four years, Olivia also joined the Maryland Mentor Corps, worked at the Center for Young Children (CYC) and studied abroad in Rome, Italy, during her spring semester junior year. Joining these different organizations has made Olivia’s Maryland experience not only more special, but more fulfilling.
