My Maryland experience has been nothing short of amazing, especially when I considered transferring freshman year. During my COVID-19 freshman year, I was depressed, bored, and upset with my college experience. However, I knew this couldn't be the end, and I knew that UMD has so much more to offer. Therefore, I remained patient, and once campus life went to normal, I fully immersed myself in the Terrapin culture. I successfully got into the Robert H. Smith School of Business and achieved the Dean's List every semester, while joining a business fraternity and other clubs within the Business School. Furthermore, I joined a social fraternity and made many relationships that will last a lifetime. I also learned leadership skills while holding the position of recruitment chair, thus coordinating and collaborating with others in a fast-paced and intense environment. Looking back, the experiences at the University of Maryland have made me a better person and prepared me for what life has to offer, and I am forever grateful.
