Monae Kerney

2021-2022 Scholar

Monae Kerney is a senior International Business and Chinese double major. Monae has been able to experience a multitude of academic and leadership opportunities while attending UMD, including becoming a Campus Tour Guide and Resident Assistant (RA). As a tour guide and RA, Monae was able to connect with students and ensure they received the ideal collegiate experience. Monae's support system encouraged her to pursue her passions and grow beyond her limitations. As she grew in confidence and experience, she had the opportunity to work at Sherwin-Williams and Vindico Medical Education where she was able to apply the knowledge she gained from academic coursework. She is so grateful for these experiences and opportunities that have made her the person she is today.
