Miesha Suber '03 is a seasoned real estate advisor with Long & Foster Real Estate in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. Currently, she serves on the Howard County Housing and Community Development Board, supporting local government and leveraging her expertise to drive positive change in her community. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
Miesha served for eight years on the University of Maryland Black Alumni Board (UMBA) contributing to the advancement of alumni relations and initiatives. Her commitment to her alma mater continued through her involvement with the 2024 Black Alumni Weekend Planning Committee, where she helped orchestrate memorable events for fellow alumni.
During her undergraduate years, Miesha made a lasting impact as a RA, embodying leadership and mentorship qualities during an especially challenging time 9/11 and then two weeks later during the tornado that landed outside of her north campus dormitory. Additionally, she was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated in 1999, furthering her dedication to service and sisterhood.
Miesha's passion for community extends beyond her alma mater. She has served as the community service chair for the One Bethesda Long & Foster office, and is also a member of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors. Her commitment to advocacy and community service is evident in her involvement with various organizations. A dynamic leader, Miesha Suber makes a difference both in her professional endeavors and the communities she serves.
