Matthew Marks

My name is Matthew Marks. I served nearly seven years in the U.S. Army as both a linguist (Egyptian Arabic, Levantine, Libyan, Tunisian, etc.) and a signals intelligence analyst. While in the Army I spent most of my contract stationed in Germany and loved every second in europe. I had the opportunity to visit 15 countries before returning to the US. I currently study Physics and am working on a minor in Computer Science. I am definitely looking forward to the next few years at University of Maryland as I start to explore the inner workings of our universe.
