Lesly Henrriquez Saravia

2022 - 2023 Scholar

Lesly is a senior pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland. She is a first-generation college student whose passion and curiosity for math and science have motivated her to pursue engineering. Lesly earned her associate’s in engineering from Prince George’s Community College in December 2019. Since then, she has interned at the Army Research Laboratory for two summers, where she assisted in research on the optical properties of semiconductor materials. After earning her undergraduate degree, she plans to join the engineering workforce and eventually return for graduate school.
