Kyong Kwok
Throughout his time at the University of Maryland, Kyong Kwok has tried to take advantage of every opportunity this large institution has to offer. He has spent every semester in college taking 16 to 19 credits pursuing a major in Physiology & Neurobiology, fulfilling a minor in Classical Mythology, researching child language acquisition through the Linguistics department, and completing prerequisite courses for dental school applications. Aside from academics, he is also involved in a number of service and social clubs on campus, including Terps for Change, Peer-to-Peer, Be the Match, Global Dental Brigades, Jammin' at Maryland, and the professional, co-ed, pre-health fraternity Delta Epsilon Mu. Some of these involvements include leadership positions, such as being an executive board member for DEM and Peer-to-Peer.
Kyong is now a rising senior undergraduate student on a pre-dental track, and is applying to dental schools this cycle. His goal is to go straight into dental school from college without taking any gap years while continuing to expand my involvement with campus communities.
