Kelly Perez Garcia

Kelly Perez Garcia transferred her associate's degree from Montgomery College and is now in her senior year majoring in mechanical engineering. She has taken many courses at UMD, the most fruitful being Entrepreneur Design Realization, where she worked with a team of 5 other students to create engineering learning kits for middle and high-school students to get them interested in STEM. Her team started with many ideas, they prototyped, tested, and finished the semesters with their design of a supply launcher ready to be manufactured to be sent out to the students in public schools.
