James Joseph

2022 Scholar

James Joseph was born in Haiti and raised in South Florida. He graduated high school in 2012 and enlisted in the Marine Corps in Summer 2014. James worked as an administrative specialist at Marine Corps Air station Cherry Point, NC and then at Headquarters Marine Corps Quantico, VA. He applied and was accepted to the Enlisted to Officer Program (MECEP) in Fall 2019 and attended Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Jan 2020. James is currently pursuing his degree in information science which upon completion , he will earn a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and resume his military career.
