Isabella Carrero-Baptista is a journalism student who also intends to minor in computer science. She is currently a co-copy chief at The Diamondback, and she recently worked as a researcher on the Racial Terror Lynching and the Press project lead by Merrill professor Rob Wells. Isabella wants to incorporate web development and design as well as data science into her journalism career. She also has a strong interest in copy editing and has worked as a copy editor since her freshman year. Isabella’s ultimate career goal is to be an editor-in-chief of a publication.
