Giovanni Medoro

Giovanni Medoro was born in Abbruzzo, Italy in June of ’86 and Immigrated to the US with his family at the age of 11. After high school, Gio spent 4 years as an Infantry Marine based out of Camp Lejeune NC, where he served two deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

After completing his enlistment, Gio earned his B.S. in Sport Management at N.C. State University where he became actively involved in volunteering. Gio is currently the Director of Marketing for the Maryland Multi-Housing Association, where he has been working for 3 years and brings leadership, motivation, and passion to the organization.

During his free time Gio serves on the Programming Committee for Volunteering Untapped, a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve Baltimore through increasing volunteerism by volunteering with a different non-profit every second Saturday of the month.

Gio is excited to be a part of the Smith School of Business Leadership Program and looks forward to the new experiences, and possibilities the program will have to offer.
