Gbemitireoluwa Daramola

2022 Scholar

Gbemitireoluwa Daramola is a freshman at the University of Maryland majoring in aerospace engineering, and a part of the Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students Living-Learning Program, a part of the University of Maryland Honors College. Gbemitireoluwa  passion for aerospace engineering has led her to join multiple aerospace engineering organizations at UMD, including Women in Aeronautics and Astronautics (WIAA), and Students for the Advancement and Development of Space (SEDS). Within SEDS Gbemitireoluwa  is a part of the Liquid Rocket Team where they design and build liquid bi-propellant rocket engines. In the future, Gbemitireoluwa  hopes to help the aerospace industry reach new heights, and inspire others to pursue careers in aerospace. Gbemitireoluwa is very excited to continue her studies at UMD and make many connections with people who share a passion for engineering.
