Damiana Colley is an upcoming Junior at The University of Maryland, College Park double majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Psychology. When she is not at school, Damiana lives in the small town of Berlin, Maryland just ten miles away from the beaches of Ocean City. In her free time, she enjoys reading philosophical texts, creating art, listening to music, and doing yoga. More recently, Damiana has gotten into reading fictional novels as well as writing one of her own. Damiana is passionate about issues surrounding sexual assault, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence, and she’s recently been elected as the Historian for PSA UMD. She also has a Violence Intervention Certificate through the C.A.R.E office at UMD, furthering her knowledge and allowing her to help a range of individuals. Damiana spends the majority of my summers working at a Watersports company, building experience in communication and customer service. In the future, Damiana hopes to graduate from UMD in the Class of 2024 with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a degree in Psychology that will enable her to become a criminal psychologist.
