Clayton Durkin

2019-2020 Scholar

Clayton, an Arizona native, served eight years in the US Army where he continues his service as a Reservist. A graduate of the Defense Language Institute, Clayton received an Associates degree in Modern Standard Arabic. At UMD he studied Computer Science. Clayton hails from a long line of service members including his grandfather and father who were career Army; his mother and wife who are both Army veterans and two Uncles who served in the Air Force. Clayton is married with two young children.
