Christin Youngblud

2023 Scholar

Christin Youngblud is a first-generation, third-year sociology major in the Behavioral and Social Sciences, college at the University of Maryland. She takes pride in having the role of the former VP of programming for the National Pan-Hellenic Council, as well as a proud member of the Kappa Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated here on campus where she serves as the Corresponding Secretary and Arts and Letters Committee Member. Christin  also volunteers with the Johns Hopkins University American Heart Association, and So Kids Soar. While being a part of her sorority, she’s learned so many attributes as far as the business side, the sisterhood side, etc. and it’s really formed her into the person I’ve become today. All thanks to God and her family, Christin couldn’t be here without them and their support. She plans to work in sports after school. Right now, she is a video intern for the Maryland football team, and is also interested in sports sociology, and the player development of athletes. She is so extremely appreciative that she was able to have the opportunity to apply for the Adele Circle of Women Scholarship, and so grateful that she’s received it because this will help her so much.
