Auva Amirmokri

Auva Amirmokri is a current sophomore at the University of Maryland, studying Computer Science and Sustainability Studies. She is very passionate about helping save the environment and using technology to do so. She is especially ardent about shark conservation. At UMD, Auva is involved with Model United Nations, where she serves as an officer, WMUC, where she hosts a radio show, and Maryland IMAGES, where she gives tours to prospective students. She also is an organizer at Technica, UMD’s hackathon for underrepresented genders.
