Astrid Mendoza

Astrid Mendoza is a sophomore psychology major with a human development minor interested in pursuing a career in counseling psychology. She currently serves as the president of Migrating Shells, a student org supporting and advocating for undocumented and immigrant students, and volunteers in different multicultural settings. Astrid is also heavily involved in UMD’s psychology department as an undergraduate program manager, an undergraduate research assistant, and undergraduate diversity, equity, and inclusion assistant.
