Ashley Armstead

2019 scholar

Ashley Armstead is majoring in Government and Politics with a minor in Public Leadership. She applied for a scholarship through the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation because she needed the extra cash to help her pay for her college expenses. She is a full-time student who will be a senior next year. She is a transfer student from Prince George’s Community College, where she received her A.A. in Communications/Writing. Now she is furthering her education, so she can become an Intellectual Property Lawyer. She is also not your typical student because she’s fairly older and she is also a parent. Ashley’s journey here has been tough, but she is so thankful to be able to continue her education without giving up.
