Aroge Akhtar

2020-2021 Newcombe Scholar

I am a recipient of the Returning Student Scholarship at the University of Maryland.  I am an active member of the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA), and Honor Society. I plan to lend my services to the financial department because of my financial management skills.  As a student of the "College of Information Studies," I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Studies.  Learning about various logical techniques to manipulate data has made me aware of certain variables I can control in my personal life, like time management.
