Angela Lagdameo Cabellon

Angela Lagdameo Cabellon is the Chief of Staff for Howard County Executive Calvin Ball and served as the County's first Chief Innovation Officer. She has a background in human service, working as the Social Services Director for Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and as the Assistant Secretary for the state Department of Human Services. Angela started as a Senior Analyst for Governor O’Malley, analyzing early learning, education, and workforce data. She was a Teach for America Corps Member in San Jose, California teaching Special Education English at Independence High School.  As a Terp, Angela was an English major and earned a Certificate in Women's Studies. She was President of SGA, President of AASU; in ODK, Honors Program, and Phi Beta Kappa; helped found the Asian American Studies Program; received the Elkins, Kirwan, Vera Cruz-Kochiyama, and Adele Stamp awards. Angela earned her Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
