Allyson Croxton

2019-2020 Scholar

My name is Allyson Croxton and I am a first-generation college student. I transferred from Frederick Community College with my Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Paralegal Certificate. Currently, I am a junior working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a double minor in Public Leadership and Law & Society.

I have several years of retail management experience and was the Vice President of Leadership for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. While I am still establishing myself here at the University of Maryland, I have joined the University Student Judiciary and serve on the Appellate Board, Tau Sigma National Honor Society, and Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. I intend to grow within these organizations, so upon graduation I will become an alumna resource providing guidance and hopefully financial support.

I am on track to graduate in May 2021 and have plans to start my law school educational career in the Fall of 2021. As a full-time law student, I intend graduate in the spring of 2024 with a Juris Doctorate. I aspire to become a lawyer specializing in white collar crimes, entertainment, and sport law.
