Aliya Daniels

2020-2021 Scholar

Aliya Daniels is a rising senior who is majoring in Communications and minoring in History. She is originally from Florham Park, NJ and has been enjoying the past three years in College Park, MD. She has been involved with Student Entertainment Events for the last 2.5 years as the Multimedia Director, Musical Arts Director, and now the Concerts Director. In addition to her leadership in SEE, Aliya is also a member of on-campus groups, Maryland Music Business Society, Public Relations Student Society of America, College Democrats, and Maryland Association of Black Journalists. Aliya has also had the chance to intern at Allied Global Marketing as their Publicity intern, in which she was able to help put on movie premieres in the D.C. area, and this upcoming summer she will be the Music Programming intern at SiriusXM and Pandora. She hopes to enter the music industry upon graduation and is looking forward to making her mark.
