Alex Balick

Alex Balick felt so fortunate this summer to learn of our new Housing scholarship as he wanted to move close to campus due to a vision problem incurred while he was in the service. A 4 year veteran of the US Marine Corps, Alex deployed twice to Iraq and received a Combat Action Ribbon for his service. He is active in Hockey for Heroes, a benefit for wounded warriors; helps with the TerpVets Paddle in the Pool with HSC Pediatrics and serves as the Treasurer for TerpVets. Alex is working on his Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Finance and will transition into the Master's program in Finance after graduating this May. On the side he runs an investment organization so if you need some financial advice, Alex is your man!
