Akinola Vaughan

2022 Scholar

After serving as an active duty non-commissioned officer in The US Army for four years, Akinola Vaughan knew he had more to give as a leader, and he wanted to have a bigger impact on soldiers' lives. This desire for change led Akinola to join the ROTC program at the University of Maryland, where he is currently completing his second year as a student in the Information Systems master's program. Akinola enjoys sharing my knowledge and experience with his fellow cadets as they groom one another to be future Army leaders.
