Join MAP for a sunset ride among some of Washington DC’s most famous landmarks! Ride leaders will set an easy pace and provide opportunities to stop at various monuments and memorials along the ride. Transportation for you and your bicycle to and from downtown DC is included. The group will depart from at 6 PM and return by 10 PM. The cost of the trip is $15 per person and group size is limited to eight participants.

DC by Foot: Tour of the National Mall area in DC
Part of Graduate Student Welcome Weeks.
Join DC by Foot as we tell the story of America’s journey from a collection of colonial New World outposts to a world power. The National Mall is filled with memorials and monuments with obvious as well as hidden stories to tell you, if you are willing to hear them. Students will need to bring $10 to purchase a SmartTrip Card for metro fare. Welcome Weeks staff will teach attendees to navigate the bus and metro from College Park to downtown DC for the tour.
