Need a headshot for LinkedIn and other networking opportunities? There will be a photographer at the event taking head shots and providing attendees with the digital image after the event. You will have the opportunity to sign-up for your 5 minute photograph slot at check-in.

Adele's Circle is a dedicated group of women alumni working to effect positive change by empowering women students at UMD to realize their full leadership potential within our campus community and beyond. The group will be hosting events throughout the year including a Fall Meet and Greet, HerStory, and a spring service day.

The Senate meets four or five times per semester (typically once a month), with special meetings scheduled as necessary. The materials for Senate meetings are made available to the public via the Senate website one week prior to each scheduled meeting. The Senate Chair presides over each meeting. All Senate meetings are open to the public, but only Senators may actively participate and vote at the meetings. Senate meetings are held in the Stamp Student Union Atrium, from 3:15 PM-5:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.

The Senate will consider a name change to the Master's and PhD Programs in Human Development Education. Senators will consider revisions to the University's policy on Appointment, Promotion, and Permanent Status of Library Faculty. The Joint President/Senate Inclusion and Respect Task Force will provide the Senate with their final recommendations.

The Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development and the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences cordially invite you to The Sadat Forum: A Conversation with America's Top Diplomat for the Middle East featuring Ambassador David Satterfield, Acting Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs. The forum will be moderated by Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development and Director of the UMD Critical Issues Poll. The conversation will cover challenges ranging from Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Israel-Palestine, efforts to defeat ISIS, and broader regional issues.
