Description: The sisters of Kappa Lambda Xi invite you to Enlighten!
Come out to learn about suicide awareness and prevention. The event will consist of a keynote speaker from the American Association of Suicidology, slam poetry, and a Q&A with panelists from various organizations around the DMV. Our discussions will focus on warning signs of suicide and how to be a source of strength and comfort.

President Loh will give his annual State of the Campus address at the November meeting of the University Senate. Afterwards, Senators will discuss proposed revisions to the structure and membership of the IT Council.
The Upsilon Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. will host a dance party, aimed to fundraise for our national philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This hospital provides medical treatment to many children across the United States and other countries every year, with no cost to the children's families. No child is ever denied treatment based on race, religion, or the family's ability to pay. This year we have chosen to have a 80s, 90s, and early 2000s themed dance, in order to fundraise for the hospital. All proceeds from this event will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
