The Division of Student Affairs provides numerous co-curricular opportunities to enhance student learning and contribute to students’ overall intellectual, physical, spiritual, social and cultural growth. We are committed to creating enriching learning environments by collaborating with faculty, staff, and students. Our highly regarded living and learning programs are just one example of a successful partnership between academic affairs and student affairs at the University of Maryland.
We encourage faculty to join with us in engaging with students outside of the classroom. Participate in a community service-learning project, advise a student organization, sponsor an Alternative Breaks program, teach a leadership class, attend a cultural event, or collaborate on a research project. The possibilities are endless.
We are happy to consult with you about partnerships and faculty-student engagement. You’re welcome to reach out to the appropriate departments referenced below or contact the Division of Student Affairs at email@example.com.
