Join the Office of Multicultural Involvement & Community Advocacy (MICA) in STAMP as we celebrate Native American Indigenous Heritage Month. By exploring this year’s theme, Reclaiming Indigenisms, MICA hopes to shine a light on inequality experienced by indigenous communities post-colonization and to also celebrate varied and beautiful indigenous narratives.

The celebration begins with the Heritage Month Kickoff on Monday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the Colony Ballroom. The month continues with conversations, like “This Land Is Your Land?” on November 8th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Margaret Brent Room through the keynote event, “Warrior Women Screening & Talk” with activist Marcella Gilbert and co-Director, Elizabeth Castle on November 21 at 6:00 p.m.
