Join the Winter Walking Challenge

If getting regular exercise is a part of your New Year’s Resolution, then you may want to think about participating in the 30-Day Winter Walking Challenge.

Take 30 minutes out of each of the next 30 working days to walk anywhere you like – McKeldin Mall, The Clarice Walk, the Reckord Armory Gym, or anywhere that’s most convenient and accessible to you. Those who complete the challenge will have walked a minimum of 900 minutes, or 60 miles, by the end of the challenge. Challenge yourself to take a 30-minute walk with a colleague at lunchtime or a 5-minute walk each hour—it all counts—whatever works for you!
