A point of pride among Terps is the connection and involvement they can build on campus. There are so many ways to engage with the university, other students, and the wider campus community.
The Adele H. Stamp Student Union - Center for Campus Life is the home for student organizations and is a great place to learn how to get connected. Visit their Student Involvement Suite on the Ground Floor of The Stamp, or check out OrgSync.umd.edu to see what student groups might interest you. There are a lot to choose from!
There's also Leadership & Community Service Learning, also located on the Ground Floor of The Stamp, which promotes social change and learning through community engagement. Find out how you can get involved or about LCSL's academic opportunities.
For students and members of the campus community who want to get more physically engaged, University Recreation & Wellness;offers recreation programs all over campus, including aquatics, fitness programs, informal recreation, intramural sports, non-credit instruction, outdoor recreation, wellness education, and sport clubs. There's a lot to keep you busy (and healthy)!
Also, don't forget about our University Golf Course.
