Welcome Back Students

 Welcome back!

As the trees begin to change and the mornings are a little cooler, we are gearing up for the start of school here on campus. In just a few days, the campus will be overflowing with the energy and enthusiasm of 30,000 students. With 15 departments in Student Affairs, we are excited for our students to come back to College Park.

While classes don’t begin until Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008, new students will begin arriving on campus on Thursday, August 28th. All of our Student Affairs departments are gearing up for their arrival. The campus will begin to come alive with the excitement of fall next week.

The official start of the school year begins with New Student Welcome, Friday, August 29th at 5:00 pm in Cole Field House. (ADD LINK). Join President Mote in welcoming almost 4,000 new students to College Park.
 

The excitement continues with the first home football game of the fall on Saturday, August 30th when the Terps take on the University of Delaware. (ADD LINK).
